About 40 Form One and Form Two students joined the paired reading, a scheme to encourage students to practise speaking English. In pairs, students read aloud to each other. Making use of their own learning materials, more fluent readers were paired with less fluent readers to lead the less able ones. Both mentors and mentees showed positive attitude in this scheme.
