生涯規劃 » A talk on the tactics in selecting subjects in JUPAS (Ho Yau Club)

We invited Ms Lun from Hok Yau Club, a social worker, to have a briefing section on the tactics in selecting subjects in JUPAS in our school. Students could go through some useful statistical figures and information about admission to eight government-subsidized universities and the Open University. She also introduced the degree programs of SSSDP and tuition fees to students. She predicted that students having 19 points in the HKDSE (4 core subjects + one elective) may have a chance of being admitted one of the eight government-subsidized universities. To make a good choice, students have to consider their interest, career and ability. She also highlighted the new calculation of the admission scores adopted by some universities. Finally, students were informed of some new degree programs for 2017. Finally, Ms Lun showed a list of self-financing associate degree and degree programs offered by all recognized tertiary institutions.
